Friendship Turned Vintage Venture
Modern Past Antiques began the way many meaningful things do—through friendship, shared passions, and the simple joy of discovering pieces with history.
We’re Ginger and Susan—two moms who met on the sidelines of cheer competitions, bonding over early mornings, big bows, and even bigger dreams. Between Friday Night Lights, football tailgates and out-of-town weekends, we found ourselves talking about the same thing over and over: our love of vintage treasure hunting. Ginger had just started styling her new home with timeless finds. Susan had spent years collecting mid-century gems. And somewhere between competitions and coffee, we realized we lit up the same way when we talked about antiques.
What started as conversations became sourcing trips… which became excitement over a freshly polished coupe glass… which became Modern Past Antiques.
Our shop is built on the belief that the past has a way of grounding us—of bringing character, craftsmanship, and warmth into the modern home.
